Teachers' Workshops
The SGS Education and Outreach Committee (made up of educators and geoscientists), in collaboration with SMA, industry, universities and others, coordinates workshops focused on Geoscape Southern Saskatchewan, and other topics related to Earth Science. Teachers participating in these workshops receive free copies of posters, plus other classroom resources. For more information, or to volunteer to help organize a workshop in your area, contact workshops@geoscapesask.ca or Fran Haidl at 306-787-6116.

EdGEO, a national program, provides funding of up to $3000/workshop to purchase classroom resources for earth science teachers and to support field trips, etc; more information is available at http://www.edgeo.org/.
