Mining Matters
Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada Mining Matters web site has abundant resources for teachers including cool posters, interesting fact sheets, classroom activities, etc. Mining Matters was developed for Ontario but many of the resources can be used with the Saskatchewan curriculum.

Ground Rules: Mining Right for a Sustainable Future
A bilingual documentary film that follows the development of new and operating mines as geologists, engineers and mine managers tackle complex problems. Lesson plans were developed by Science North to accompany the Ground Rules film. Lessons cover the topics of geology, mining, mining processes, ore processing and minerals in every day life.
